Success a State of Living

Have you ever considered what is success for you? I don’t mean for your parents, for your schoolmates, for your colleagues or for your partner. I mean for Y O U .

We come in a demanding world as a naked child. We cannot eat by ourselves. We cannot walk. Not talk. Can practically do nothing by ourselves. We are immensely dependent on anybody else. We want to become like somebody (parents?) so practically reach their own limits. Where is the success on that? Pessimism… Fatalism… Yeap. All that!

We have only one asset. An infinite inner force. That force is nourishing ourselves to achieve greatness. It is guiding us to learn and select freely our path. That if we do listen to our inner voice and we believe in ourselves with no doubt.

Jedi staff? Nope. This is the real deal!

Take any successful person you can think of. They all say: you don’t see how many failures I had before I got to be known and successful.

Yes. You are in that bottomless hell-pit (hello? Dante?) that nobody knows you and you consider success, a like on Facebook (sweet thing!).

Universities & innovative companies show the way for modern HR

Few days remain until the first of the three events of the Santa Monica Job Fair powered by the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce and the Mayor of Santa Monica Ted Winter starts and already some important facts are becoming obvious. South California Universities and some very innovative companies showed the greater interest, and in some cases officially supported the Private Sector Jobs & Internships event.

Another interesting finding was that companies in sectors that could be described as more “traditional” were reluctant to test Team Plus HR recruiting system that matches potential candidates to specific job openings. There is no doubt that HR is very important and part of the capital of a company. Αbility, experience and knowledge of each employee contribute to the growth and development of the company and talented people can bring an added value to the enterprise.

Experience and instinct of the recruiter are of course indispensable but in most cases the recruiter has limited time to sort through all applications and match the qualifications for each applicant to the specific requirements of the job opening. Thus, it is frequent that some talents are disqualified long before they reach the interview phase. This is where a sophisticated HR recruitment system can make the difference and highlight a possible talent that could be lost as an asset to the company.

Defining talent on experience or education leaves no room for innovation or for genuinity.
We have to promote freedom of expression and intelligent creativity. 
That is what success is all about!

The level of support from companies and institutions is also growing and now includes Santa Monica College, California Lutheran University, ENKI Technologies, Expert Dojo, General Assembly, Technical Connections, the Santa Monica Place and more.

We live our lives with a specific deterministic attitude, excluding possible. We live and we die. That’s it.

Βetween our days of living we try to create some worth. Some good living.

I’ll give you the color of that: #GRAY – not black and white (or white and black). simply gray!

We are forgetting, though, our most intelligent ingredient. Our soul!

We can’t escape our nature. We are creators!

We do music, symphonies, operas, paintings, portraits, landscapes, visit the stars…

We have a heart the is smiling with a bit or a color!

Chocolates or Flowers

I am addicted to chocolate… who isn’t right?

In life, there are many kind of pleasures. Name them… But one of them occupies a special place in our minds. Chocolate! Milk, vanilla, ginger, black, coffee, lemon, cherry, strawberry… whatever combination you can imagine! Recently, I ate duck with chocolate sauce and balsamico, and it was delicious. And then, you can also drink it, with 40% milk and 20% chocolate and, the rest, 40% water… the perfect combination. So, imagine that now, you are in a snow shelter, and it is cold outside. I bet that the only thing that would make you feel nice… is a cup of hot chocolate.

Since Valentine’s is around the corner, I would like to share with you an eternal love story… that of the Sun & the Moon.

This universe is established in duality… nothing functions out of this concept… The beauty of life is to understand both sides of ourselves… but still incomplete without our special one. both Sun and Moon… everything is important in this chase … everything!

Evil or Live

We often reach a crossroad.

And I am asking you. Is your choice to follow truly yours?  Are you influenced by your perception of the world, which is shaped by your parents, society or news?

How can you recognize that thin line of being yourself and making your own choices vs. assuming of living your life and being manipulated to believe that you are yourself?

When will you take the responsibility to wake up? To be sincere with yourself and detach from all that is not yourself.

Life is not guiding you on its own will. It is you, who are able to shape life and make it as you want it.

These crossroads we meet when we are ready. When we have reached a critical knowledge of self-understanding and consciousness that change is the only opportunity we have.

Life is change. It’s all changing and staying alive.

the 6th P: Philosophy

We need to establish the sixth P: Philosophy on top of Product, Price, Place, Promotion, and People.

The 6th P is like a sixth sense, invisible but able to determine the success or failure of a company.

We believe the first step in creating the visual identity of a company, actually, to create a company at all, is answer the WHY.
What is the underlying philosophy of creating the company and of being in business?

In current business practice, the closest to a company philosophy can be found in the company objectives and the mission statement to some extent. Most of the times, this is done without ever reflecting upon the philosophy apart from the fact that the company is created to make profits. And even that is sometimes unclear, which becomes visible especially in employees when they start spending more time browsing the internet than being productive.

Once the philosophy is clear, it is much easier to suggest the best combination of the following for the visual and web design of the company:

  • Color scheme
  • Shapes
  • Slogan (Motto)
  • Brand names
  • Keywords
  • Target group
  • Type of web domain
  • Sitemap and site structure

Not only that, we are actually convinced that the clearer and more coherent the philosophy, the longer the life cycle and the stronger the success of a company.

If the philosophy is clear from the beginning, it will be reflected in each design element and any other type of communication. It will be present in the heads of managers and co-workers. In fact, this will attract only talents who feel aligned with the company philosophy and therefore stay longer and create faster and better results.
